Global Angel Charitable Organization: Health plays a fundamental role in building and maintaining strong communities
In continuing efforts to meet the needs of ill and injured people and their families, Angels of Flight has supported Global Angel Charitable Organization since being founded locally in 2007. The charity’s goal is to support those needing assistance with transportation costs to access approved medical treatment, repatriation or facilitate a special wish regardless of age.

We are a “Green Business” — Supporting Environmental Initiatives
To promote local green business in the Peterborough area, the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce and GreenUP, launched the Green Business Peterborough Program.
The program recognizes businesses that have pledged to and have implemented strategies to reduce waste, save energy and adopt sustainable business practices.

January 12, 2010 marks the date of the tragic 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti affecting 3 million people. The United Nations, Red Cross and hundreds of support groups rallied from around the globe to provide the support so desperately needed.
During the first 4 months after the earthquake, Angels of Flight Canada Inc. dedicated staff and expertise working closely with Bombardier to move an emergency medical team (CMAT) to the affected area and Air Transat and West Jet to provide logistics and screening to triage emergency medical crews and supplies safely to and from Haiti. Doctors and nurses from across Canada and throughout the United States generously volunteered their time and expertise.
