For nearly two decades we have been providing air
medical education and training programs to health care providers,
physicians, registered nurses, travelers, flight crews, flight attendants
and allied professionals globally. We also offer policy development and
training in biohazards and chemical exposure, blood borne pathogens,
control of and protection from respiratory illness, and emergency medical
response programs.
As professions, healthcare, aviation and travel
industries, in general have a dynamic knowledge base. Professionals can
become outdated quickly if processes are not in place to foster continuous
learning. Angels of Flight Canada Inc. has made a concerted effort to
develop our education and training programs to equip professionals with
the necessary skills for their work today, and teach them how to
self-learn so that they can maintain state-of-the-art competence over a
lifetime.
Our instructors are all actively practicing Critical Care
Nurses, Paramedics, aviation personnel and physicians. They are chosen for
their ability to communicate the hands-on skills necessary, their
extensive knowledge and experience, as well as their strong interpersonal
skills and confidence-building in this critical area of emergency response
to a life-threatening situation.
Many of our expert consultants and
facilitators continue to provide service in the Canadian healthcare
system, which provides assurance for clients that our solutions are based
on a thorough understanding of modern healthcare methodologies and
technologies, its issues, and implementation difficulties.
