Aviation Facts for Air Crew
The absolute basics you need to know to function efficiently in an environment that is unfamiliar to flight medical crew and personal travelers for business or pleasure. The facilitator has extensive flight experience as a aircraft pilot and trainer.
Classroom hrs: 12 hrs.

• Basic Aerodynamics
• Aircraft pressurization
• Air Regulations
• Flight Operations
• Time Zones
• Weather and Atmosphere

Emergency Evacuation for Air Medical Crew
The educators in this program not only have extensive knowledge of aircraft emergencies, they have experienced many of the emergencies during flight themselves. The participants will recognize an emergency, gain knowledge and confidence to handle any emergency involving the aircraft.
Classroom hours : 12 hrs.

• Crew responsibilities
• Emergency landings
• Preparation of all for an emergency    landing
• Ditching procedures
• In flight emergencies and more

Survival Facts for Air Crew and Travelers
Survival is a matter of will. Our program leaders are experienced air rescue personnel with more than a decade of training skills. Each participant will gain confidence in their ability for survival and learn ways of creative problem-solving.
Classroom hours: 4 hrs.

• Fires
• Shelters
• Food and Water
• Flares and Signals
• ELT and Aircraft Radios
• Thermal Conditions

Ditching and Survival Skills
Ditching and Survival SkillsLearn the essentials of surviving an aircraft ditching. The water safety instructors will guide the participants through water exercises allowing the individuals to experience some of the conditions expected with an aircraft ditching. Recognition and management of hypothermia is also discussed.

This program is offered in selected locations only and each participant will complete the workshop realizing the importance of this knowledge and experience. Classroom hours: 1⁄2 day program
This course has been taught successfully for more than 12 years.
